about me
My name is Alyx, and if it isn’t already obvious, I love anything sugar! I grew up with the biggest sweet tooth, always needing a cookie or piece of candy at some point throughout the day. This combined with my mom’s obsession with Food Network got me into wanting to make cookies and cupcakes to the love of being creative and coming up with my own recipes and cake designs. My passion grew so much that after high school I decided to go to culinary school in North Carolina to get my degree in Baking & Pastry Arts. After college I moved to the Twin Cities and even Nashville and worked in multiple hotels, restaurants and bakeries while trying to build my own business on the side. I started out with a blog and even wrote my own self published cake books! I really wanted to be able to share my own creations with the world so others can enjoy them too, but to also grow my passion and dream of having my own bakery. This journey has led me to now, where I am now in my home town in North Dakota, slowly growing my business.
