where are you located?
Frequently asked questions
I am located in the Eastern part of North Dakota outside of Grand Forks. I’m currently only a home baker so everything is made in the comfort of my home following all of the Food Cottage Laws of North Dakota. This indicates that everything is made in my home and that by making a purchase through me you indicate that you understand that what you are ordering is coming from a home kitchen that isn’t inspected by health officials. So no, I do not have a store front at this point in time but I am working on getting there with your support!
what are your hours?
Right now I am currently working a full time job so I am only available limited hours throughout the week for pickups and deliveries.
Saturday I am available from 10 am - 4 pm for deliveries and pick up can be any time given the events of that day.
Sunday closed (I will not be doing deliveries on Sundays but if you are wanting to order something for a Sunday you can pick it up)
how can I contact you?
If you are trying to get ahold of me to place an order or for a custom quote you can send me a message through Facebook, email, text, or send me a message here. I may not be able to answer the phone throughout most of the day since I do have a full time job, but if you leave a message I will give you a call back as soon as I possibly can. I am able to get back to you more quickly through email, text or message as well.
what payment methods do you accept?
If you order through email or Facebook message for a custom order, I accept cash, Venmo, and I also have a card reader available to use as well! Otherwise you can easily order through here online, that way you can put in all of your information and pay all in one go! But if you are wanting something more special, like a character cake, then please either send me a message or fill out the custom cake or cookie form to get a custom quote.
What are the serving sizes for each cake?
We have lots of sizes of cakes available! If you aren’t sure what size you are needing then look no further! Here is a chart of how many servings each cake has with variants on how big you cut the slices.
4 inch has between 4-6 servings. this is perfect for a smash cake or small cutting cake for a wedding!
6 inch has between 8-10 servings. this is the best size for you if you are having a small get together.
8 inch has between 16-20 servings. having a decent amount of people, this is the right size for you!
10 inch has between 26-32 servings. this is the best size to go for if you are wanting a tiered wedding for a large group.
1/4 sheet has between 12-20 servings. this is the best size for you if you are having a small get together.
1/2 sheet has between 36-64 servings. need a good amount of servings to feed a lot of people? this is perfect for weddings and large parties.
where do you deliver to?
Since I’m only available for a limited amount of time I am only able to make deliveries in a 50 mile radius on weekdays and 75 miles on Saturday. Grand Forks, Fargo and surrounding small towns are all available for delivery, but please let me know when ordering so we can communicate on days and times that work best for the both of us! Saturday I am more available for the longer distance, especially for weddings. If I get a certain amount of orders for the same day I will waive the delivery fee, just need to reach a quota for that to be achievable.
Do you ship?
Do you offer dairy or gluten free cakes?
I currently do not ship. I’m unable to do so due to the cottage laws of North Dakota. Once I am able to have a commercial kitchen and license you’ll be the first to know to get your goodies shipped out to you!
At this time I’m only offering chocolate cake for gluten free options. More will come in the future as I test out recipes. Our kitchen isn’t 100% gluten free, it is gluten free friendly.
For dairy free that is something that I can accommodate for certain cake flavors! Most of my cakes are oil based so if you are wanting something dairy free the chocolate cake is a great option for you! For dairy free cakes I use almond milk, for reference, as well as dairy free butter and shortening for the buttercream. If you have any questions concerning this please send me a message! Please note that pricing may be more due to special ingredient costs.
